A week down, and wow, there’s so much to write—or should I say rant—about. The family started off by heading to the beach to spend a full day of sun, sun, sun, and more sun. The water was crystal clear, just begging us to jump in (DUH!). As we embarked on this journey, it became clear to me that this is what Italians do.

We had sandwiches during the day and pizza at night (Yum!). One thing I realized is that the people and culture here are all about relaxation—no worries, no hesitation to just live life.
