While I lay in bed, I dream of my last month's vacation in Italy. I can still hear the ocean, and smell the coffee brewing.*
Italy has a way of staying with you long after you leave. It’s in the sound of waves gently lapping against the shore, the aroma of espresso wafting through the air, and the vivid snapshots that linger in your mind.
When it came time to fly back home, I felt sad. I felt like we should just stay here forever.*
Every corner of Italy felt like a new discovery—from the cobbled streets to the lively piazzas, every moment was filled with something to savor. Even with my two small children, the trip was somehow relaxing. Sure, there were the usual chaotic moments that come with traveling with kids, but there was also this sense of calm that enveloped me. Ththethe beauty of Italy worked its magic, and I found peace.
It took me some weeks to look over the photos, and I still haven’t edited them all.*
Every time I go through them, I’m taken back to those carefree days. I can see my kids laughing, the sun setting over the horizon, and the way the light hit the buildings in a way that only Italy can make magical.
*I haven’t posted or uploaded anything in two weeks, and I feel like it’s time.*
So, here I am, ready to share some of my favorite moments from the trip. Sometimes, life gets in the way, but these memories—well, they’re worth slowing down for.
